Norman Wilson has passed away at the age of 83.
The Northland cricket legend was a much respected figure in the game through his years of playing and selecting.
Wilson played 86 games for Northland and was a selector for the side during the 1966-67 and 1975-76 seasons and also was a Northern Districts manager and convener of selectors.
The former all-rounder was a life member of City Cricket Club, Northland Cricket Association and Northern Districts Cricket Association.
A service will be held for him at 2pm on Saturday at Cobham Oval.
