North Force players welcome back striker Keegan Baddeley to the side tomorrow hoping he will produce some much-needed goals to help them end the season in style.
The team have suffered a dreadful run of recent form that has seen them drop from promotion probables into mid-table and a lack of goals has been at the root of it.
The team's coach, Russell Baddeley, said they can't buy a goal at the moment. "In fact in the whole of July we got just one goal ... and that was from central defender Dom Fromont from a set piece," he said.
Last week they went down 0-2 to competition strugglers Lynn Avon in Auckland, which is symptomatic of how much the side are struggling. They went behind 0-1 to an unlucky deflection just before the break and despite having the majority of second-half possession and goal chances, they couldn't equalise and Lynn Avon pinched a goal at the end to add insult to injury.
Baddeley's return from overseas could be just the fillip the side needs against Claudelands Rovers tomorrow at Kamo, although injuries to Calvin Erick and Marcus Crum mean the side could still start below full strength. The Hamilton side are second-bottom of the Northern League Division Two table but only trail Lynn Avon on points difference and could still be a challenge to North Force.
