Firefighters battle blaze at house in Northland

Fire crews are battling a "well involved" house fire near Dargaville.

Fire and Emergency NZ were called to the scene on Maropiu Settlement Rd, about 11.15pm, a spokesman said.

No one was believed to be inside the house.

Fire fighters are "actively fighting" the fire.

The fire is not believed to be suspicious.
