The Landmark Homes Midwinter Trophy is set to bring in a good crowd as the Taniwha Darts Association look to increase playing numbers.
Taking place on July 21-22, 53 of the 96 spaces in the competition have been taken following a highly successful Northland Darts Open, TDA's first major competition.
TDA's Howard Murden said the tournament is open to players of all skill levels.
"This is an open singles tournament, you don't need to be a member of any association or affiliated to any club, simply register and play," he said.
"We encourage players from all around to come and enjoy what is set to be a fantastic weekend of darts.
