Remember the 1970s TV Series M.A.S.H. with Hawkeye and Hotlips Hoolihan? Could you play the part of Radar?
Rehearsals are under way in Maungaturoto for the Otamatea Repertory Theatre's upcoming production of M.A.S.H.
Director Alister Williams is still looking for an extra man - to play the role of Radar.
With opening night just over two months away, the race is on to find a suitable actor to play the character. Radar was the little bespectacled guy with an uncanny gift for knowing what is about to happen even before official word gets through.
The stage play is based on the hugely successful film and TV series and book of the same name.
It follows a team of doctors and support staff stationed at the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital during the Korean War and starred Alan Alder in the lead role.
Opening night at the ORT Theatre is set for April 1 with eight shows to be held over a three-week season.
If you think you have what it takes, call Alister Williams on (09) 432 1890.
