The Ministry of Primary Industries is still investigating a commercial fishing boat that was allegedly spotted long lining inside the exclusion zone at the Poor Knights Islands.
The Leigh-based vessel Extreme Limits was allegedly seen inside the prohibited zone last month by a skipper of a dive charter boat out of Tutukaka.
MPI district compliance manager Darren Edwards could not reveal details about the case as investigations are ongoing but no charges have been laid.
