TV chef Peter Peeti is promising to leave no plate unturned when Maori Television's longest-running series visits Aotearoa's northernmost harbour.
Kai Time on the Road premiered in 2004, when Maori Television started broadcasting, making it the channel's longest-running show.
In the first episode of its 10th series, at 7pm on Sunday, July 15, presenter Peter Peeti takes the Kai Time waka out on the Parengarenga Harbour in search of fresh Ngati Kuri snapper.
The other 25 episodes follow the keen hunter, diver and fisherman all the way to Bluff as he sniffs out local specialties with an indigenous flavour.
Mr Peeti said the variety of food featured and the different ways it was cooked in different parts of the country had helped make the show an enduring success.
