Get ready to party in Northland today and tomorrow when the Trillian Trust's Blue Light Mini Trek (formerly The Variety Bash) comes to the region.
The Trek team and Northland Blue Light have a convoy of colourful vehicles that will trundle their way through the region to raise money for Kiwi kids in need.
Along the way there will be social events for locals to catch up with the colourful characters on the trek.
The trekkers will be in Kaikohe from 9.50am today for a fun stop at the Hone Heke Lookout. The trek will then head to Moerewa for a fun session in Simson Park from 11.05am to 11.40am.
At 11.50am today the convoy will stop at Kawakawa for a ride and lunch on the vintage train, with the trekkers leaving around 1.15pm.
