People wanting to attend the whole-of-Northland economic summits organised by Northland MP Mike Sabin have until Friday to register.
The first summit on June 6 at Copthorne Hotel & Resort, Waitangi, will focus on identifying potential cross-sector growth and the factors likely to assist or constrain it.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bill English, along with the Minister of Energy, Resources and Minister of Housing and Whangarei MP Phil Heatley will be guests at the summit.
The second on July 10, also at the Copthorne, will prioritise responses to those factors and develop an action plan.
Economic Development minister Steven Joyce as Minister Dr Pita Sharples, Minister of Maori Affairs and Co-Leader of the Maori Party will attend the July 10 summit.
