Northland secondary school sportspeople have experienced basketball, shooting, rugby, rugby league, and multi-sport this term.
However, the curtain was brought down on the third term's secondary school sport scene last week as badminton's individual competition took place in Whangarei.
Winners on the day were Whangarei Boys' High School's Jack Dingin the boys, beating Northland College's Brooklin Cassidy in the final 21-7, 21-7.
In the girl's division, Sidiyaporn Insamran of Whangarei Girls' High School beat out another Northland College student, Lindee Mataki Kaiaruna, 21-10, 21-17.
