Four Athletics Whangarei athletes travelled to Wellington to take part in the Athletics New Zealand National Track and Field Championships.
Walker Corrine Smith repeated her 2014 success with another bronze medal in the 20km walk.
Smith's time, which was held on a course in Upper Hutt, of 1 hour and 52 minutes was faster than her 2014 time and, subject to ratification, will stand as a New Zealand Masters National Record.
The 3000m Track Walk provided Smith with a second bronze medal.
Thrower Scott Gregory, the National Secondary Schools Hammer Champion, added the Athletics New Zealand Youth Title with another outstanding performance.
