The start of the Whangarei Artisans Fair season will begin this weekend with new owners at the helm.
The popular fair which showcases food, arts and crafts had been run by Kaari Schlebach since it started more than a decade ago but now Jodie Hannam will be running the markets.
Held on the Canopy Bridge and overlooking the Town Basin, the markets showcase artisan talent found in Northland.
The first market of the season will be held tomorrow and will run every Saturday through to the end of January and then fortnightly until Easter weekend.
The markets runs from 9am to 1pm. For more details on the market or to book space at the event contact Ms Hannam at jodie@multiskill.co.nz.
