Food and other refreshment stalls will also showcase Northland products.
The event drew 10,000 visitors in its fourth year last year, with more expected this time around.
Sarah Blithe, from Huband's Energy, said the company takes a decent-sized stall every year and always notices an after-show flow of people into the store.
''It's absolutely good for business. We wouldn't miss it. It's a great way to come into summer, promoting our solar panels, for example.''
Blithe said staffing the stall has become a ''smooth operation'' over the years. ''It's a lot of fun.''
This year Northern Advocate parent company NZME has taken over managing the show, as it has done with similar expos in Whanganui, Rotorua and Manawatu.
"We will bring the best businesses from all over New Zealand to exhibit beside the best of our local Northland companies, all into one venue for one great weekend." said Renee Murray, from NZME Events.
''Whether you are remodelling, landscaping, renovating or updating your furnishings, the Northland Home & Lifestyle Show has a large range of exhibitors suiting every home-owner's needs with everything from kitchens and flooring to new cars, spa pools to complete new home builds.''
IC Motor Group is the main sponsor.
Northland Home & Lifestyle Show is at the ASB Stadium, Kensington, Whangārei, from Friday until Sunday, 10am – 5pm; entry $5.
