Happy-go-lucky.
2 What is the most important advice you have ever been given?
Be thankful for what you've got.
3 What's the best resource that Whangarei has for young people?
I've been out of Whangarei for a while so am not really up with the play on what is available but I think the skatepark and BMX track are a good start.
4 When you were 12 you used to tag buildings. What made you do it and what would you say to young Northlanders who tag?
The reason I did it was to rebel and vent at society in a non-constructive way. However, my advice to young people is that the consequences and repercussions of it, fines, criminal record, lost job opportunities, aren't worth it in comparison to what they think they are gaining from it at the time. Also, tagging can be an eyesore and it costs councils and individuals time and money.
5 When it's been a full-on week, what is your favourite way to unwind?
I go to the beach whenpossible and paint.
6 What is the one thing you could not live without each day?
My mobile phone.
7 Do you have a nickname, and ifso, what's the story behind it?
Robin - like from Batman. It is an obvious alternative to my name but one night at a function, the presenter called me to the stage by that name and it just stuck.
8 Tell us something that most people don't know about you?
I've owned and watched every episode ever made of the cartoon Ben10 ... recently.
9 As a teenager, who or what did you want to be when you grew up? And why?
It would have to be a tie between a Ninja Turtle and Richard Branson.
10 What song will always get you on the dancefloor?
Definitely Hansen - MMMBop.
