Ren Haskell turns to the healing powers of music when she's had a hectic week. The natural healer, based in Bank St clinic, is the organiser of the Coping and Wellness Expo, which runs on Friday and Saturday at the Whangarei RSA
1. Describe yourself in three words.

Energetic, reliable, unique.

2. What is the most important advice you have ever been given?

Do it once and do it right, and follow through.

3. If you had a chance to direct a movie about your life, who would play the lead role?

Audrey Hepburn.

4. What album is playing on your stereo/computer at the moment?

Sounds of Spring.

5. When it's been a full-on week, what is your favourite way to unwind?

Dancing to live music.

6. What is the one thing you could not live without each day?

B-free coping toolkit.

7. Describe a typical Monday morning.

Get up at 6am and go to the clinic excited for a new product to do.

8. Do you have a nickname, and if so, what's the story behind it?

Ren. My real name is Irene. The i and e rubbed off each end and my teacher called me Ren, so it stuck.

9. Tell us something that most people don't know about you.

I worked in forestry pruning really tall pine trees and stacking timber to dry into posts.

10. As a child, who or what did you want to be when you grew up? And why?

Audrey Hepburn, she has style, is elegant and independent, also great fashion style.
