Paul Pachter has taken the cardboard pinhole cameras many of us experimented with as kids to a higher level.
Pachter travelled all over New Zealand with his collection of pinhole cameras, performing what he refers to as "carving with light".
Erosion plays a big part in Pachter's most recent exhibition being held in Whangarei. The event will showcase his most recent work which has been taken from his boat on the northern waters of New Zealand.
Called Jamming with Light, the exhibition's title refers to Pachter's talents as a musician and an artist.
Jamming with Light is showing Te Studio in the Old Library, Whangarei, until September 30.
