I've never really been one for children's fantasy movies, but maybe this was wrong of me.
Although it has been a long time since I was a child, I was totally engrossed by the adventures of Edmund and Lucy, along with their cousin Eustace, their royal friend Prince Caspian, and the warrior mouse Reepicheep in the latest journey into the world of Narnia.
Edmund, Lucy, and Eustace are drawn into Narnia by an ocean painting and find themselves floundering in a wild sea.
But their old friend Prince Caspian, onboard his ship the Dawn Treader, saves the day.
Once on the ship, Edmund and Lucy revel in the excitement that their adventures bring them.
Their challenge this time is to defeat a mysterious enemy that threatens the existence of the kingdom.
People are disappearing, and only a strange green mist can be held to account for the disappearances.
Prince Caspian and his cohorts must sail the Dawn Trader around the kingdom in search of both the powers and answers with which to defeat their latest enemy.
Along the way they meet some very odd characters - the one-legged midgets with very large feet and a bad attitude come to mind.
They must also resist very personal temptations if they are going to prevail against the enemy.
The Chronicles of Narnia - Voyage of the Dawn Treader is a wonderful story that will appeal to children of all ages.
The mixture of fantasy and adventure is very compelling.
