What goes better with PJs than a hair treatment? While you're snuggled up watching TV, let these products get to work beautifying your locks - so when you do finally venture out into the world, you have the confidence that comes with perfect hair.
My favourites are the Biolage Matrix Aqua-Immersion Creme Masque (deep moisture for dry/very dry hair) and the Redken Extreme Strength Builder Plus. Being an overly-processed blonde, both of these were perfect for my distressed locks. The Biolage treatment really gives a good moisture hit, and makes hair feel super-smooth and shiny afterwards. The Redken should be a staple in the bathroom cupboard of anyone who tortures their hair. Hair feels instantly stronger.
I really like the smell of the L'Oreal Everstrong (sulphate-free fortify system) deep-replenishing masque. It's meant to strengthen hair after one use, and goes on really easily. It's not overly heavy, so it's great for fine hair. L'Oreal's Age Supreme Integral Replenishing Radiance Masque is meant for older hair - apparently hair can lose some of its thickness over time. This masque plumps it back up again. It goes on like butter and makes not-so-old hair feel great, too.
The L'Oreal Elvive total repair restoring masque is the cheapest of the lot - and it probably is a case of getting what you pay for. But it's a good, solid treatment if your hair just needs reinvigorating rather than complete rescuing.
