I have been a Beastie Boys fan for as long as I can remember so when I got the chance to review their latest album I couldn't help but do my excited dance.
Hot Sauce Committee Part Two is the trio's latest offering and their long-anticipated eighth album.
These veteran hip-hoppers have
been around for more than three decades and continue to prove their appeal is still strong and can stand the test of time.
Hot Sauce Committee features 16 tracks and gets under way with Make Some Noise - a real Beastie track that has old-school beats and samples.
The energy these boys have is awesome - you can't help but love every track on the album. My favourites have to be Make Some Noise, Too Many Rappers (featuring Nas), Say It, Funky Donkey, Here's a Little Something For Ya and Crazy Ass Shit.
Beastie Boys know how to have a good time and their music is proof of it. They're not too serious, they keep it real with their retro sound and may even sound more old-school than they have in recent times.
I can't seem to get enough of this album. I sure have missed the sound of those vocals. The only downside to the album was it was all over too soon.
