The Disney factory pops out another pop princess - this time the 18-year-old star of sitcom Wizards of Waverly Place (who may or may not be Justin Bieber's new girlfriend).
A Year Without Rain, Selena Gomez & The Scene's second album, is full of dance floor-friendly synth pop, probably more suited to a slightly older set than her teen-targeted TV show, and with less of a rock edge than fellow Disney Stars Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato.
The stand-out song Naturally, strangely enough, was on the first album and appears only on the international edition of the second album. Penned in part by Katy Perry, it's a fun, uptempo dance track with a killer chorus that wouldn't be out of place at the top of the charts.
Of the remaining tracks, the title track and the ballad Live Like There's No Tomorrow from the Ramona and Beezus soundtrack are highlights.
The Deluxe Edition comes with three remix tracks and a DVD including music videos for Round & Round and Naturally and behind-the-scenes material.
