Blame Oceans 11 or Robbie Williams if you will, but there has been a proliferation of casino swing and cabaret compilations which have resurrected the idea of Sinatra-cool and tuxedos at noon under the neon of the casino floor. This 19-track collection sweeps up a brash finger-snapping samplings from 50s and 60s cool: Vic Damone (Something's Comin' from West Side Story), Vegas legend Wayne Newton with Danke Schoen, Bobby Darrin (Once in a Lifetime), Judy Garland (Lucky Day), Mel Torme on an ill-advised upbeat version of the the cynical Games People Play, Peggy Lee with Big Spender, and so on. Dean and Sammy are here, and so is Tony. But the Chairman of the Board was entertaining someone in his suite when this collection was being pulled together.
