Help & Support

What happens if my paper is not delivered, or it's damaged or wet?

If your newspaper is not delivered, damaged or wet, please contact us on 0800 100 888 (The New Zealand Herald) or 0800 001 099 (Regional Newspapers).

If the call is made prior to 8.45am we can either re-deliver your paper or credit your account (extension where applicable). If the call is made after 8.45am, we will credit your account (extension where applicable).

If damaged or wet papers are an ongoing problem, please let us know as we can provide you with a high-quality newspaper delivery box.

We will deliver the paper to the most accessible point of the delivery receptacle which is clearly labelled and easily identifiable from the footpath for the deliverer, so we can keep the paper safe and protected from the elements, if the receptacle allows.
