First passenger ship cruises into the bay.
She was launched in 1995 and billed as the world's biggest-ever cruise ship. About 77,000 tons the Australia based Sun Princess has an overall atmosphere of relaxed refinement. Cruising the Pacific the nearly 2000 passengers have use of a sports court, two pools, buffet and other restaurants onboard. She leaves port after about an 8 hour visit.
