New CHB Mayor Alex Walker is getting down to business. She has the new council team together and is starting to work on getting priorities sorted. Her aim is to create a more public way of operating. A swearing in ceremony was held at the CHB Municipal Theatre, Waipawa.

She was launched in 1995 and billed as the world's biggest-ever cruise ship. About 77,000 tons the Australia based Sun Princess has an overall atmosphere of relaxed refinement. Cruising the Pacific the nearly 2000 passengers have use of a sports court, two pools, buffet and other restaurants onboard. She leaves port after about an 8 hour visit.
