Kapiti Coast marchers do their best to work in unison at the leisure marching open day held in Dannevirke.

The day included leisure marching teams from around the region, from as far south as Wellington to as far north as Napier.

Ruahine Ramblerz hosted the open day in Dannevirke and have also been going a little more than 30 years.

Kiwi Gems have been going since 1991.

There were 13 teams visiting for the day, held earlier this month, helping to promote not only the sport but also the fun and friendship aspect of it.
