The cricket umpires' associations of Hawke's Bay and Canterbury are working in tandem this weekend.
The Bay umpires are hosting two Canterbury counterparts as part of the annual exchange between the two associations.
Today one will be at the Nelson Park 3 crease in Napier with Bay umpire Del Whyte and the other will be at Cornwall Park 1 crease in Hastings with Chris Dear during the men's premier club one-day semifinals.
Tomorrow the Canterbury pair will be at Nelson Park, each officiating in the premier men's Twenty/20 semifinal matches in the morning between Napier Technical Old Boys and Taradale and Cornwall versus Napier Old Boys' Marist.
The Cantabrians will then preside over the T20 final in the afternoon, says Bay umpires' chairman, Geoff Pollard.
