Andy Bevin Hawke's Bay United striker Andy Bevin received four of the five trophies on offer at the franchise's awards night held at the Bluewater Hotel recently.
The New Zealand under-20 football representative claimed the golden boot, players' player, supporters' player of the year and young player of the year awards. The fifth award went to Bay United captain Jonathon Taylor for coach's player of the year.
Former All White defender Jonathon Taylor and veteran striker Leon Birnie were presented with awards for 50 franchise games.
The treasurer of the HB branch Child Cancer Foundation, Shirley Simmons, received a $2000 cheque from the Bay franchise as donations raised during the match between Bay United and the Wellington Phoenix Reserves.
Bay United general manager Anthony Floyd said it was great to put something back into the community, especially one that benefited children.
