Napier City Council has started a second-time-around consultation on a local Easter Trading Policy it hopes will be in place well before the public holiday weekend next April.
A four-week consultation period opened yesterday, with public submissions closing on November 9.
The council's previous adoption of the policy was ruled out in a High Court Judicial Review, based on inadequacies in draft policy public consultation the first time around at the end of 2016.
