A woman and a child were seriously injured after a car crashed into a pole in Napier on Thursday morning.
Emergency services were called to the single-car crash at the intersection of Riverbend Rd and Waverley Rd in Meeanee, Napier, at about 9.45am on Thursday.
Police said a car had crashed into a pole.
A St John Ambulance spokeswoman said two people were in a serious condition were transported to Hawke's Bay Hospital.
A Hawke's Bay District Health Board spokeswoman said a woman in her 20s was on Thursday afternoon in a stable condition.
