Those venturing out at the crack of dawn on Wednesday for Anzac Day services in Hawke's Bay would be wise to bring their umbrellas because morning showers are expected.
Anzac Day will be fine, apart from morning cloud with the chance of an early shower. Light winds and southerlies will develop during the day. Napier and Hastings will both warm up to 18C.
MetService meteorologist April Clark said that although the weather will be fine for the next few days, the bay will continue to feel cooler temperatures.
"Obviously things are a bit cooler but generally Hawke's Bay will have fine autumn days."
But she said it would warm up as the week progressed.
