After a decade servicing its Hawke's Bay customers, Hasting-based ICT consultant VO2 South has merged with cloud-based security expert The Instillery.
It's part of a nationwide deal combining The Instillery and the whole VO2 group into a single technology group with combined revenues of more than $20 million.
VO2 executive director and former Xero chief operating officer Ross Jenkins said the merger would be an instrument for change within the ICT sector.
"The merged business will have a renewed focus on fanatical customer service and building trusted relationships with customers - these factors are fundamental to business success and haven't changed in the 30 years I've been in the tech sector."
Hastings-based VO2 South chief executive Rohan Bowyer, who continues as chief executive of The Instillery South, said the change in brand aligned with the direction customers had been pushing towards, and brought additional capabilities to its existing cloud services.
