Two teenagers were allegedly assaulted and robbed outside a McDonald's in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Three men demanded the teens empty their pockets before the assault took place, police said.
The victims aged 15 and 16 years old, were in the Hastings McDonald's carpark about 5.30am on December 6, when they were confronted.
One was punched and fell to the ground while the other was set on by the trio, constable Rhyan Honeyfield said.
While on the ground, one of the victims had his head, face and body stomped and kicked repeatedly.
