Hawke's Bay has plenty of activities and events for people of all ages to enjoy. We list eight of the best on this weekend.

1. Harcourts Hawke's Bay Arts Festival 2018
Harcourts Hawke's Bay Arts Festival has a smorgasbord of incredible choice this long weekend. Today, until October 28.

2. The Spring Fling 2018 - Central Hawke's Bay
A series of 30 standout events from September to November capture the essence of springtime in Central Hawke's Bay.

3. Mustang Car Show
170 cars will be on display with cars from 1964 to present. The 2019 Mustang Bullit will be on display. $5 entry for adults and a gold coin donation for children to go to the Hawke's Bay Helicopter Trust.

4. 2018 NZ Mixed Foursomes Championship
This is the first time this event will be held at the Maraenui Golf Club. All players will be seeded by handicap into divisions of eight, for three rounds of foursomes match play. The top division will play an off the stick foursomes match play with the remainder of the field playing handicap foursomes match play.
Maraenui Golf Club, 285 Te Awa Ave, Awatoto, Napier. Today and tomorrow, 8am.

5. House of Travel Tour of Bay 2018 and Family Fun Rides
Tour of the Bay is back this year as one day event, entry fee for the 40km 100km and 200km, includes a meal at the end at the event venue. The family/kid rides are a gold coin donation to Cranford Hospice.
Guthrie Park, Brookvale Rd, Havelock North. Tomorrow, 9am to 2pm.

6. Abbey Brewery - Hoptoberfest
Kick back and relax and listen to the chilled sounds of local talents while sipping away on some great NZ craft beers in the vines. There will also be a couple of local artists singing some tunes!

7. Shapeshifter with L.A.B & Sunshine Sound System
As ever, Shapeshifter will be bringing a production second to none, with enough bass to rock any place and a veritable visual extravaganza.
Joining the 'shifters will be long time amigos and multi-genre merchants L.A.B as well as the sublime stereophonic stylings of the one and only Sunshine Sound System.

8. Speedway Season Grand Opening
This is going to be huge. Its the Grand Opening of the 2018-19 Speedway Season with visiting drivers in almost all classes - SuperStocks, TQ Midgets, Stockcars, Ministocks, SuperSaloons, and more.
