* To the person who handed in my watch at Kmart last week a big thank you it was a present from my family.
* Hey Lawrence Yule, a wee suggestion to help your amalgamation campaign - spend a bit of time here and discover that the HDC is a user
unfriendly organisation in comparison to your neighbour which has a 'can do will help' culture as the HDC has a 'cant do, charge the earth. have a bad day' culture. I recommend you lose your PR team and get out and meet some of the lower flying ratepayers. Amalgamation sounds good but your side is not up to speed by a long shot.
* Well blow me down. The price of petrol is dropping because they say American driving habits have changed! Haven't heard that one before. Next lie please.
* I am proud to be Maori but to see another Maori lady smoking in her car with windows up and turning around to smack her moko twice, it kills me to know that I am Maori. That's to the lady at the Karamu lights recently - you had me in tears and feeling very mad, you should know better.
* Re smoking: My neighbour does not smoke in her house but smokes outside so the smoke drifts over my house, very inconsiderate. Jean, Taradale.
* If Kronic is to be made illegal then surely alcohol must follow. It causes much more problems than dope or is it too important to the Government's tax income? TM
* Preacher Harold Camping should keep his predictions to himself. What an idiot. I don't know who is worst, him or the people who believed him. But I feel sorry for those gullible souls for no one knows when God will pass his judgement.
* To the ex breastfeeding mother. What an ignorant woman - bet she didn't breastfeed for long! I was lucky, my son was born in second world country and I could breastfeed anywhere hassle free.
*  $15 min wage, great! I worked hard to get my diplomas and $15 is what I get now. What a waste of time and money studying!
