*  The issue of Kronic and other legal so called herbal highs being gateway drugs is one that's true and won't go away. We need to examine our collective psyhce, see the parallel between drug and alcohol abuse and the collapse of family unit/communities. It's our issue let's own it and not blame groups and individuals for escapism.
*  Wonderful letter Tanya Hughes. Says it all hope Karma does not take too long coming to him hopefully at 150 per cent
*  So unions are looking at strike action over high cost of living and low wages. Well it's about time for some action with the low wages pahere in NZ. The Brits would go on a full nation strike with this factor. The trouble with us Kiwis is we sit back and take what's thrown at us and then moan. As a truck driver driving a 40 ton truck l am paid $15 an hour working 68 hours per week. I have driven trucks Europe and l know that drivers would not get out of bed for 40 hours work of my take home pay. NZ is a wonderful country but spoilt with a low employment rate along with low wages and a high cost of living. We wonder why people head overseas.
*  Congratulations to Vicky Roebuck for getting great crowd to RWC roadshow, it was great HB showcase. JML
*  Hate drivers who go slow but speed up at passing lanes then slow down afterwards. Now that's really inconsiderate/dangerous. KB
*  Isn't it bizzare after the "road art and concrete sculpting" the saftest place to drive is in middle of Gascoigne St. All this road tinkering a gross money misuse!
*  Sorry the lady lost her beloved lab, but why was it loose on the road and not home behind a gate?
*  Very big thank you to the kind gentleman who assisted me with my stick and walker for many blocks along Heretaunga St. Your help was much appreciated thanks. Marg
*  To all the peoples who are moaning about a bit of noise during the tennis, I say, shut up, get out your racket and get some exercise.
