* Families connected: How wonderful for them. $50 for a computer and I can't even get a computer for a son with learning problems. I have to find the $1000. KG
* Napier has Tom Parker fountain and seafront. Hastings has nothing to look at when filling in time at night. Projector pics good idea for Hastings? Other ideas? PR
* 200 hours community work for $14,000 fraud. That is ridiculous. No message to thieves there. I would happily do those hours for that reward. No reparation OK, but at least 2 years work was required. Get the message out there please.

* Re Richard Edmunds gripe with MMP. MMP is far more democratic than FPP ever was. A simple solution to the point Richard made would be to change the rules of MMP to state candidates standing in electorate seats cannot appear on a partys list as well. GF

* Recently it was said that Hastings should become a suburb of Napier. Perhaps Napier becomes the fishing village of Hastings.
