* Could you please tell me if there is any club hockey being played in HB or is it that there just isn't enough room in you sport's pages because you have to describe every detail of every football game played? Come on HB Today let's have some balance please. SW.
* Sports editor: We cover key sports relative to resources available. Rugby, football, basketball are key codes in winter and, consequently, receive premier coverage. Hockey, like every code, have been advised to email their results to be published regularly. HB Hockey, as of late, has sent stories on the NHL campaign and the selection of three under-21 players for the NZ squad. They have been published, accordingly.
* Nothing wrong with Helen Clark. At least she didn't waste taxpayer money creating her image! OMG Trelise Cooper and greenstone particles woven into Key's suit. Hello!
* Reply to the Year 10 student about licence changes. Wake up kid, life is not fair. The quicker you learn the better off you will be. SE
* Re last Thursday's article "Week of Shame" - parents who abuse children in such a disgusting manner should be sterilised. EB, Greenmeadows
* The smokers area outside HB Hospital is disgusting. There are cigarette butts and rubbish everywhere. Why are there no bins? H. Popplestone
* Obviously Maureen has heaps of money and won't mind paying my increases in rates to cover councillor Hazelhurst's pay rise for doing the job she was elected for. RMC
* It's not the road rules to blame for accidents it is speed and what young ones are drinking.
* Re contraception being too expensive. Don't know where you go but I pay $17 for a doctor visit and then $3 for a 6 month supply of contraceptives. Pretty cheap.
* I would like to advise you that the Napier RSA did not lay all ordered wreathes at the Cenotaph. A lot of the flowers were recycled and sent to Rest Homes. JTC
