I* t's a pleasure to watch rugby games with the Northern Hemisphere teams, and not have to view maimed bodies with ridiculous tattoo scribble over them. REE.
* Tourism is one of our biggest earners but ripping off visitors to the footy is not going to do us any good. Bloody Kiwi greed.
Cyclists
* As a cyclist myself I get sick and tired of the flack we get from motorists. We are allowed to ride two abreast on the road and I believe can take up equivalent road space as a vehicle. Cars move over and consider cyclists. MB
* Nearly hit a cyclist when she pulled in front of me at a roundabout, maybe there should be tests for them to sit before riding on the road too? JHW

* Disgusted with SM re our hospital. My hubby and I have had nothing less than excellent care and treatment from doctors and nurses in a very clean hospital. S B &. E. S Eriksen.
* NZTA: Put a queued vehicle sign on the northern side of the overbridge on Napier's expressway! The current sign is in the wrong place for traffic queuing at the bridge. The number of accidents is increasing! The recent three-car crash was an accident waiting to happen. GM
* Hear hear to Don Brash, decriminalise marijuana. We aren't criminals, some of us are the most humblest people you will find.
* Duke Street in Mahora looks very nice now it's settled and drivers have got used to it. The trees with their blossoms are so cheerful. The same trees in town perhaps? I can't see cabbage trees lifting your spirits, native though they are. Anne.
