* I covered, then forgot about a quarter cup of left over spaghetti. When I looked at it, it was covered in tiny bright orange crystals. With all the chemical additives and pesticides used in or on our food, is it any wonder so many people die every year of cancer?
* A bicycle profoundly augments human locomotion in terms of human metabolic rate and speed and requires zero energy in itself . BK
* My grandmother smoked cigarettes for 65yrs. She passed away at 83yrs. My mother smoked cigarettes from aged 9 until she passed away at 72yrs. They both were nurses, and teachers so get off the smokers back cause you got your own grandmother to worry about.
* They have made a complete mess up of Omahu Rd. They get it flat and then it rains and makes even bigger pot holes. And no one ever seems to be working on it.
* Not surprisimg emergency department so busy. These days your GP is either away or day off. Some times two or three visits and still no results. Just too expensive. Not always the same doctor either.
* Moden translation killing the original Maori language. Maori are in danger of losing the pure language of their ancestors because of consistent watering down. RB
* The more Kiwis that emigrate to Australia per week the easier it is for the Government to deal with unemployment, housing etc.
* Great to see the new netball courts fully lit on Wednesday night at 10.40pm. Great waste of ratepayers money - again.
* Re amalgamation: To the people who think that amalgamating the cities will bring in more doctors, teachers etc you are dreaming. Where are they going to work? The population still stays the same only the council name would change.
* Will Mr Yule give it a rest and stop wasting time and money! Napier residents and council don't want to be merged with Hastings.
