* Once again I am disappointed how outsiders walk into Magpies team. Some sign on for one season then off. Heaps of talent here locally. We are getting outside show ponies not studs.
* What would be the attitude and feelings of a tourist arriving or departing Napier by bus? Mayor Arnott and Napier City Council get it together before spending dosh on 'Art Deco' styled buses for the more wealthy tourists.
* SB you are so right, time for hefty instant rubbish or littering fines. It's thoughtless and disgusting! CM
* Total agreement re speed limit on open roads. Thumbs down to motorists taking expressways at 60km instead of staying on Kennedy Rd, Napier! CPS
* What's with Mr Yule? I see him as the man who would be king. If Napier does combine then Taradale should secede and become a borough again. Brian Bulford
* Yes Lawrence, let's have a referendum now. Of course people know what they are voting for. Napier doesn't want Hastings' debt and problems. I say let's vote now.
* If national decides to sell our state assets how foolish would they be? New Zealand shouldn't be for sale and only lease our farms and lands to overseas interests. JB
* I don't always agree with Hone Harawira but at least you know where he's coming from unlike a lot of other dishonest politicians eg Don Brash.

* Code Red re hospital and see your GP early. Yeah right! Where do people go if they can't afford to see a doctor? Or the GP won't see them because they can't pay!
