Prisoners on roof
* Re prisoners, where are their uniforms? Should have put firehose on them.
* How soft are those MM gang members - put them in skirts, not that tough aye.
* No smoking in prisons - tough, get a life.
Other thoughts
* I think more chances, or at least more advice,
should be shared with us youth with no idea on what we want to do in life. We need more help. Come on John Key, don't forget about us.
* CYFS caregivers Mr and Mrs Hemara should be very ashamed. 38 abuse charges! Disgusting! These kids would have been better off left in the care of their parents. Imagine the life-long scars inflicted on these kids. As a mum of four boys I am horrified.
* Is the HCC ever going to reseal that terrible bump over the Queen St railway crossing going towards Havelock? It must be wrecking a lot of suspensions and has been really bad for a couple of years now. Very annoying! EJ
* So John Key expects his ministers to act cautiously in regard to accepting corporate box rugby tickets. Don't get caught, more like!
* 80 per cent of the time I do not have sympathy for kids who get attacked by dogs. You see young kids jam their hand through a gate or fence, you see them throw rocks, poke dogs with sticks. Hello - if you were the dog you'd bite too. But dogs get the blame every time.
* As if it's not hard enough to get two kids under two to the swimming pool, a rude and unhelpful staff member made it even harder. Didn't feel welcome at all. Disgruntled ratepayer.
* How much would be saved if parents paid child support rather than having to be "looked into" and still nothing. They even get case managers while the other parent, usually the mum, has to struggle and is told everything possible is being done! Shame on you parents who don't pay. Call yourself a parent? You're a disgrace.
* Thanks to the people responsible for doing a great job weed trimming and tiding up the Te Mata Peak goat track.
