* Eva Bradley, good on ya mate. Shame more females don't have your insight. Keep smiling girl, look beyond the dust jacket. You'll find there are some decent blokes like Kev around. Not pretty, not big on words, they seldom attract attention. They just get on with the job. JS
*
Yes John Key, Osama Bin Laden was responsible for the murder of thousands. As a peace loving human being I find this tragic. But let's not forget the over one hundred thousand civilians murdered by the Americans in the Middle East. Why are they there? Oil of course. Disgusting bullies! NL
* Hone Harawira, what an utter idiot saying Bin Laden should be honoured. Well mate, buy a black turban and move to Afghanistan. You may feel more at home there. NW
* Hone Harawira's comment that Bin Laden should be honoured is so sick. Typical of a racist Maori. He should have been sacked a long time ago, we can do without his kind. PB
* Re Liz Earth letter to Ed. Maybe do some research about ducks/duck shooting before pointing the finger. Ducks are destructive, it keeps numbers down and it's also food. GL
* Well said Liz Earth re duck slaughter the disturbing thing bout all hunters is the sheer delight they derive from killing
* Yes like Liz Earth, I too wake up feeling saddened and sick to the stomach during duck shooting season and support everything she says. When will we stop the senseless shooting of these beautiful birds? Lesley
* Re RSA wreaths. The Napier RSA did have wreaths at the cenotaph. As the weather was adverse the service was held indoors (as advertised earlier). The wreaths were moved to the cenotaph after the indoor service. I am a loyal member of the Napier RSA and congratulate them.
* That was a priceless letter 2 ed by Barry Forbes confessing to creating the UFO. He said it all with style and they kept that secret for nearly 60 years!
