* Clearly QV and Mayor Yule don't know the difference between price & value eg: the price I paid for my car was $4k AMI valued it at $3k. I paid too much but that didn't alter the value.
* Council planted road frontage trees look very picturesque in Autumn but they are also responsible for blocking storm water drains and upliftng footpaths and roads.
* Bay Corp, EC Control: Don't blame the people for their predicament. Blame the Government.
* Surely the HDC wouldn't put parking meters in Orchard Rd or make it like Wilson Rd?
* You would thnk NCC woud have a decent flood water and sewage system in place. Judging by the amount of rates we pay that should be a priority.
* Thank heavens for John Key, imagine the embarrassment if Helen Clark was still prime minister and had to attend the royal wedding.
* Whoever put a shark in my letterbox well done. A great joke. I found it very funny, good sense of humour.
* Come on NCC, time to sort out bus stop in Dalton St! My 81yr old aunt and 78yr old mum had to park by St Pat's, walk to stop in the rain, no dry shelter there! A disgrace. CS
* It makes me sick that whoever is in charge of the Pike River mine said that they could or may have saved those workers almost a whole year later. Who the hell do they think they are. How dare they do that to the families who have lost loved ones! Sally. L
