* Have just walked down Gascoigne St and cannot believe how many traffic islands there are. Cycle lanes all mapped out.
Absolute waste of ratepayers' money. Have never seen so much road works in one city at one time.
* Council did a good job at making Gascoigne St unsafe, barely enough room to get two cars between the islands, already been a few close calls, great the council look after people that ride around with tight pants on. MP
* How silly for the council to alarm public unduly, rather than check buildings to see if they are an earthquake risk. They do nothing. They take easy way out and call them all risks without any check or proof. Now up to owners to prove no risk and get removed from list. A sad case of guilty until proven innocent. Just typical council duck shoving work and cost onto some one rather than do their job.
* Regarding cycle lanes: As �was travelling to work this morning I began to see why cyclists don't use these specially designed lanes and some feel safer on car parking lanes or footpaths When �observed five cars travelling straddled halfway cross the cycle lane and the main road. Lanes are to be used properly if everyone is to feel safe. MH
* What's up with 018 service? I wanted Frimley School's phone number and I even spelt it and got Manchester Unity Friendly Society phone number. I say Telecom need to get people that understand and can spell to help customers out!
* Was up and getting ready for work and watched a silver car with pushbike on the back stop get out of his car, take rubbish out, put it on neighbour's grass area and drive off. Shame on that man. What was wrong with his own lawn and street?
* NCC are doing nothing to help build the character of Ahuriri or look after the community allowing this blue box to be built. I'm disgusted.
