*   To parents with two large incomes struggling with 5 kids money wise. People should plan family size, not just keep breeding and expect sympathy. NS

*   I want to thank John from BP Carlyle and two other men who came to help me when I looked my keys in my car. I was taken back by your concern and will to assist. Who says there are no descent people out there, I came across three people all at one time. Thanks so much. Julie

*   Hurrah clothing bins gone in Southland Rd. It was a dumping ground and looked disgusting to us residents.

*   Re new hotel in Hastings close to restaurants and night life. Please remind me what that night life is and those restaurants are, I'm still looking. CD

*   My 6-year old read anti abortion sign and asked what it meant. Thanks for putting me in an awkward situation, protesters. Signs are not neccessary, it's not your decision.

*   The Chumbers: The law is the law but compassion is compassion. The parents are guilty but the children are innocent. There is room in NZ, is there room in our hearts? The children are innocent. Mercy!

*   Couldn't see the cryptIc clues because it printed off centre, 15/10/11. Not just my paper. Everyone I know that got one. Disappointing!   We apologise to our readers for this technical error.
