*    Re turning into two lanes: Same problem from Guppy Rd into Meeanee Rd. Please keep this issue in the paper until people learn the road rules.

*    Re internet dropping off: This is a major problem after school and early evening. Are our phone lines overloaded?

*    Dumping a trailer load of garden materials, domestic rubbish and a few old chairs cost me $12.60. Pleasantly surprised. Cheers HDC.

*    Has anyone else had someone ring recently from a Napier medical centre asking about a questionnaire survey thing that they were doing?

*    After a trip to the emergency department over the weekend I can't rave enough about the service - prompt, caring and friendly. Thank you to the staff there.

*    One thing this new blue country will do will be to give the underclass in NZ the blues. GI

*    Marineland's seals can't be released as some are blind or disabled. That's why their home is Marineland. If I was one of those seals I'd choose regular food, care and attention, other seals to play and interact with over death any day! SE, Marewa
