*To DAB, I stand behind you 100 per cent. This government has taken away our right to discipline our children. Explains why things are the way they are with the youth these days. I was disciplined when I deserved it and it brought me back into line. I turned out just fine.
*Magpie selectors what are you doing? Leaving out Michael Johnson is a bad move.Could at least let him have a testimonial year. Won't be going to any games in protest.
*Govt gives $36 million for America's Cup. Pity they couldn't give a few million to get Napier Hospital up and running. DB
*Here we go again, people suffering health cuts etc but Govt just gave $36m to team NZ Black Magic. Gee that goes un-noticed but an uproar for the waka.
*Good one National, another wasteful, unecesary expense. First the BMWs and now the yachts. Would someone please tell me why they should stay in power? RB
*Made a special trip to Te Mata Cheese for 65th birthday lunch back on 14th April. Was annoyed that had closed permanently sign up. There was no mention of it on website.
*Thursdays paper shows difference between Hastings and Napier re heritage buildings. Deputy mayor Cynthia Bowers perched with hard hat on a wrecking machine, while Napier carefully considers the look of their heritage buildings re new Farmers building. Shame on you Hastings District Council.
*To the lady in the white car who didn't slow down when my elderly Mum was crossing the street, shame on you, we all have to get old.
*How will we know if deep sea oil drilling is or isn't causing earth quakes. No to no more drilling. CS.
*Talia, go to Pak'nSave. $3.60 for 2lit milk and $1.70 for loaf of bread. Cat
*I witnessed the dog attack on the boardwalk Sunday week ago . The woman was so abusive to the dog owner. If I was him I would not have paid vet bill. Shame on you, he was so very sorry.
