TEXT OF THE DAY
To the boys working at Pakowhai Park, you are doing an awesome job. Park looking great, thank you.
How nice it must be for the CEO of the HBDHB to be earning that much. Second-highest in HB, when they have just put off valuable on-the-floor staff because
they had no money. BJ
Such naive texts! You could try bringing back Helen Clark to stop the Christchurch earthquakes, but I would suggest you'd better vote God into Government! Get real - natural disaster.
Kate Middleton is a class act.
Legal high Kronic, legal killer and misery alcohol - ok, New Zealand, let's ban Kronic.
Travelling on the open road yesterday with four other cars, all doing 100km/h with 30-40 metres between us. Can't get much safer, happy motoring than that. To the 95kers, pull over if you're not confident doing the 100km/h speed limit.
Has anyone else had problems with 2 degrees working in the Bay? Moved here from Rotorua. After five months I find it a poor service with delayed texts or sending texts five times.
SPCAs would get so many volunteers from schools if they were open after 3pm. Cat
1080 is bad. It is killing our native animals, as well as our deer and dogs. I'm sure we can think of another way to spread it other than dropping it from the sky. We could put it high up in trees and invent a smell that will draw in pests but keep the good animals away. We are wasting millions of dollars on possums and they will never die out. They'll just keep breeding and people still have them as pets. So stop sitting around on your butts and do something.Think about our children's children - will they ever get to see a kiwi?
We weren't impressd with lack of professionalism with heat pump supply company. Chap put two pamphlets on table. No measure-up, no checking of wiring or any house details. Scruffy appearance. Yes, we agree heat pumps are for all seasons but businesses won't be around for all seasons when so sloppy.
I nominate Jim Hickey as next PM. A great attitude. Toby
