Selling rural real estate takes time and perseverance, says Jim Crispin, of Dannevirke Property Brokers.
"There's a little bit of confidence from out-of-town buyers looking for lifestyle properties, but buyers are very selective for sheep and beef properties," he said.
"Banks are certainly not handing over money for sheep and beef properties willy-nilly."
Sales were considered with caution, but were happening, Mr Crispin said.
