Hawke's Bay's second slice of the big Lotto First Division prize has been claimed.
The Bay scooped two $500,000 prizes in last Saturday night's draw with one sold at Raureka Lotto and the other at the Munroe and Dickens St Countdown Supermarket.
The Hastings winner was quick off the mark in going to see Raureka shop owner Dipesh Chauchan on Sunday morning and on Monday afternoon a man approached the Countdown counter to submit his ticket.
"They should be receiving their prize forms today," a Lotto spokesperson said.
A Countdown spokesperson would not comment on the possible winner except to confirm they had sold the ticket.
