Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be visiting New Zealand later this month, but the sad news is they won't be passing through Hawke's Bay.

The good news is that Royal fans won't have to go to extensive lengths to get a glimpse of the couple as they make their way across the country.

The Royal Itinerary for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has finally been released and they will be greeted by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on October 28, in Wellington.

After the welcome from Ardern, the New Zealand Defence Force will perform a pōwhiri and haka.

The Royal pair will also take part in a traditional hongi.

Other activities include a visit to the UK War Memorial, along with a public walk in the Memorial Park, where people will get a chance to snap a photo of the newlyweds.

Visits to local cafes, a trip to Abel Tasman National Park and a barbecue lunch with youths and children are also on the cards.

On October 30, they will head to Auckland's North Shore, where they will dedicate a portion of native bush to The Queen's Commonwealth Canopy.

Enthusiasts will be able to snap a photo of the pair at Auckland's viaduct where a meet and greet is scheduled.

They will end their Auckland visit by attending a reception hosted by the Prime Minister at the Auckland War Memorial Museum, joined by young people who make a "significant contribution to well-being and their communities".

The Royal tour will conclude in Rotorua the following day, where they will first visit Te Papaiouru Marae, for a formal pōwhiri and lunch

They will also visit Rainbow Springs and learn about the centre's work and progress to protect native wildlife and breed endangered Kiwi.

People will of course get the chance to see the pair as they will head to the city centre, followed by a trip to the Redwoods.

The Duke and Duchess will fly back to Auckland during that evening and depart for London the following day.
